Habitat for Humanity/7 Rivers Maine works in partnership to provide affordable housing in our communities.  HFH/7RM is the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI), serving the 31 towns in Sagadahoc, Lincoln, and Northern Cumberland counties.  We coordinate donations of funds and materials with volunteer labor to build sustainable and affordable new homes, and do home repairs or weatherization for qualifying families.

We recently completed a Women Build home in Harpswell and a BIW Build home in Bath.  Our home repair program served three families by making their homes safer and more energy efficient.  We also partnered with the United Way of Mid Coast Maine to weatherize seventy-eight homes and plan to take over that program in the coming year.

To help support our mission, our ReStore sells donated building materials, fixtures, furniture, appliances, tools, and other surplus items.
